Third apparently by cards, narrowly losing out to Preston and Swansea. Love it. I don't think we're kick you off the park bad but I've never minded we've got a bit of an edge to us. Though suspect those two Wes red cards which were hardly dirty bumps us up a bit.

The vast majority of our bookings are for pointless shirt tugging and niggles when we’ve given the ball away, on the halfway line, with loads of players back.

But then again no one ever really gets sent off and we had the division’s joint second best defensive record. So what do I know

We've definitely become a bit more "streetwise" this season, I'm not a fan but next season we, ll have to do the same

Tugging....you say.

Not really, I think it looks more like, "Oh, that looks a bit like a foul and it's a Sheffield United player, and Bassett and Warnock used to manage them, so I'm booking him"

George Santos says 3rd is not good enough!

Two ways to look at this.
First, we will need to be more careful next season, with VAR there is no hiding place and I think we got away with one or two possible reds this season.
On the other hand, just watching Leicester v Scousers and fuck me, Leicester should be fighting for their lives but have hardly put a challenge in and are being outfought all over the pitch. Wouldn't want to see that from the Blades, if we go down, we go down fighting.

Egan and Anel love a yellow!

Some of the yellow cards we have had are laughable.

Exactly this. When you look at "fouls committed" stats we're down in 14th place. I'd suggest that fouls committed would be a better way to determine the dirtiest team rather than yellows which include McBurnie complaining or taking his shirt off after scoring, or Anel/Norwood/Egan/JLT getting done for shirt-pulling.

How are journalists so fucking lazy these days? 😆
