Championship Playoff Final

does anyone know what time kick off the playoff final will be?

No intention of going to the Play off semi's or final.

This will be a huge issue once again. The winner or loser will both suffer as they will have another couple of weeks before they get an end of season. Just like Liverpool and Spurs after the really late Champions League final a couple of years ago they won't get the full recovery from a long season which has been complicated already with Bad weather postponements and the Covid farce backlog.

To have the Championship Play Off final on the 29th and not the 21st (like the league one) is a mistake. There is a high chance that players from teh Championship will be also playing in Qatar so clubs won't get the full break that League one and two teams will mostly get.

And with the Championship then starting again at teh end of July, earlier than normal, it will be a hard slog for the teams and i'd guess that many teams will end up with injuries if players arent able to fully rest before rushing a preseason through.

Best thing that we can do is avoid the play offs at all costs - but then again i always say that

What he means is.....KO is3pm ;)

I really can’t understand what UEFA is waiting for. There’s no way that the final should now be held in Russia.

They are holding a meeting either today or tomorrow so will be announced soon that the final will be moved
They may wait to see what teams make the final before making a decision on where the final will take place

Hopefully this is in the wrong section as we storm to automatic promotion, but does anyone know what time kick off the playoff final will be? It's on Sunday, 29th May, and I'll be in Scotland for a week's family holiday. Looking at booking flights to from Inverness to Heathrow as they'll be cheap now, but would be expensive if I tried to book them following the playoff second leg, but need the kick off time to safely book flights.

I did the same in 2019 and thankfully ended up happily writing off the cost of the flights.

Do you really think there'll be that many Blades in Inverness wanting to get to Heathrow?

Will VAR be used in the final....if so I want to go on record for being the first to say.....FUCKING WANK VAR, COST US £150M FUCKING SHIT, HOW COULD THEY SEE THAT WAS NOT A 96TH MINUTE PENALTY
No VAR in the EFL at all

It won't matter anyway
We'll ask for the first level of reduced allocation and if you haven't got enough loyalty points the club will never get as far down the list as selling you a ticket

You won’t be going anyway as you’ll still be on your keyboard management course. Particularly focused on the “the” structure 😉

There’s a remote chance that the EUFA Champions League Final might get moved from St Petersburg and end up at Wembley that weekend. Maybe we’ll win a play off final played at Spurs new stadium!
Old Trafford would be the best bet. Potentially us, Huddersfield, Blackburn and Boro all the mixer. QPR would have to suck it up as a one off. 30k ish tickets each which is sufficient as no club has been getting more than that this season.

Couldn't care less about another trip to Wembley personally, been plenty of times.

The world will be a dystopian wasteland by the time we play a playoff final again.
Dystopian wasteland? When was the last time you had a look around?
Bunch of grifters in government lining their own pockets, selling off the NHS piece by piece, forced transportation of refugees to Rwanda, more Food Banks than actual banks in the city, more homeless beggars in Fargate than actual shoppers
And John Lewis has closed.

Think we are already there mate

That’s still possible, Putin looked pissed off today with no war victory to announce

More proof that they simply don't give a shit about fans.
Absolutely, ‘Use Public Transport’ they say. Where’s the incentive when the kick off and therefore a planned finish which might include extra time, penalties and celebrations for three out of four sets of supporters north of Luton leaves you with a rush for the underground to make it in time for the last couple of trains? At least there are trains, on previous visits to Wembley it needed an overnight stay. No joined up thinking making these decisions.

I remember being really impressed the first time at new Wembley for the Burnley game, but after a few more visits, I really couldn’t care less about it as a special venue. Obviously I would like to be there to support, but it’s become more of a pain to visit and endure rather than a special day out.

You just know we will get there because I will be in the USA ffs.
