Are we going to do what I've been saying we needed to do all pre-season and sign a centre half now Morgan's injury has left us with 2 recognised centre backs?

Killa and Ehiogu will be fine to start at Blackpool but who's on the bench? Hopefully we sign one on a season long loaner to cover us all year. Can never be too careful with cover at the back in my opinion.

Theres Halford who can play there, Speed (i'd rather keep him in midfield though), Naysmith can play in the middle.

I'd sooner have someone specialised as cover though, especially if it means we don't have to move others around.

I'll also pander to the mockers though and put in a shout for Maxime Chanot :D

I was thinking this earlier

Hopefully Morgan won't be out too long

Off topic slightly, but Kilgallon has a great future ahead of him, he was my MOTM today

Yeah I agree, would definitely rather have a specialised centre half. I don't like it messing players around in positions, the key to consistency is playing them in the same position!

Chanot might be a good shout, still never seen him play but he's rated highly so it could be weath a go. Depends on who we're playing really, think we could probably do with at least some first team experience.

Blackie said on P&G he'll be out for at least 10 days - apparently have to with concussion.

It is worth noting though that Ugo was fantastic when he came on.

Ugo was great Saturday, like Foxy said Halford could be moved there if a problem occured, which could give Cotts a chance. Also can't Sun Ji play there, if so move him into the middle and Halford at RB so we can use his throws!

Would rather have a specialist CB than trying to put square pegs in round holes.
TBH i think a loan is the better option here in this case!

I think in an ideal world everyone would like to have 2 players for every position but the reality is that this leads to problems financially as well as keeping the back-up players happy.

Having flexible players in reserve is the most prudent option unless a long term injury rules out one of the first choice centre backs in my opinion.

Alternatively, as you say, a solid loan signing would be another good way to go.

The kids have to step up at some point, and covering for such eventualities seems like the way to bring them on, so Foxy's French Stud, Chanot might be worth a go if the need arises. :)
