Cash in on Billy?

Billy's probably got a couple of years of his career left, so how about selling him to Forest, Derby, Villa or whatever big-money club stays down, on a contract that will set him up for life. And we could probably trouser 7m in the process. At least.

Controversial?
I’m rather drunk, but I can still articulate.

Fuck the fucking fuck right fucking off.

Sell Billy? That’s like selling your mum or dad. It’s like selling your dog because you don’t want to take him to the park any more.

You may as well sell your house, or your wanking hand.

Sell Billy?

Fuck.
Off.

Billy will eventually drop into Chris Wilders coaching staff imo as a striker coach.

Fucking awesome picture. On a side note, anyway to purchase one of those shirts their wearing you know of? Want one no matter the cost!

Looking at them, I’d expect them in the Club shop, I’ll have a look Tuesday if they’re not online before then :D

Hmmm let's think. We finally have someone who not only lives and breathes The Blades, but is an integral part of our recent turn of fortunes, and we should think about CASHING in?

Imagine how much value he could continue giving us off the pitch once he retires from playing, given everything he will have absorbed since his return.Surely that is worth way more than any transfer fee?

I know there is little room for sentiment but it feels mercenary to me.I cannot imagine Chris et al having such a narrow view.He might be a Wilder mark 2.

Long term thinking and shaping future success is essential in my eyes and we know what potential their is in "One of our Own" Few clubs seemingly look to their own to create a model to breed success from the heart first, rather than the wallet.

On my mantlepiece is a Disney Wristband. It has very little, if any, monetary value. But I wouldn't part with it for all the world because of what it symbolises, the things that were given that will live long after we are gone.

My point is this, whatever value Billy has, is nothing compared to what he has given us, and hopefully we have given him. He is going to lead us out in the Premier League next season, a moment of redemption for him, and all Blades.

Billy is our Disney Wristband, and all it represents. Go get 'em kid........................

I know I’m going to get a shit load of abuse but if we got 7 million we’d be mad not to , he’s not going to get quicker and we need power and pace there’s no doubt about that

1. No
2. NO
3. FUCKING NO

He's our homegrown hero, and he has earned the chance to lead his boyhood team out on the first day of next season in the Premier League. He WILL score a few goals next season, and anyway, he'll get a fat payrise for promotion, he's already a very rich man and set for life, and who would realistically offer him enough money to tempt him away from what's happening here at the moment?

Oh, and

4. FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING NO! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS.

Considering the fact that CW agreed to sell him to Sunderland in the last close season I don't think it's that unthinkable, for the record Billy refused the move point blank, but it was definitely sanctioned by CW
