Billy's probably got a couple of years of his career left, so how about selling him to Forest, Derby, Villa or whatever big-money club stays down, on a contract that will set him up for life. And we could probably trouser 7m in the process. At least.

Controversial?

7m?

Expecting someone with 2 years of their career left to command £7m is certainly controversial, because his actual value isn’t going to be anywhere close to that. He’s far more valuable in the squad than him being able to attract big money.

1. No
2. NO
3. FUCKING NO

He's our homegrown hero, and he has earned the chance to lead his boyhood team out on the first day of next season in the Premier League. He WILL score a few goals next season, and anyway, he'll get a fat payrise for promotion, he's already a very rich man and set for life, and who would realistically offer him enough money to tempt him away from what's happening here at the moment?

Oh, and

4. FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING NO! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS.

Good wind up?

Fixed it for you

There’s a big problem.

He’s priceless to us, probably worth at least 5 million in our system.
However for another club in their system, at his age, he’s probably worth 1 million max.

If we made Billy open to offers they would top out at 1 million and he’s worth far more to us
And has potentially a longer role (coaching etc) at the club. So there’s no way we’d sell.

Congratulation on finding my stash.

Yea sell the club captain and talisman who along with Wilder is a huge reason for our success......

Will do wonders for squad morale.....

Really? Is this what we have to put up with until our first match in the Premier League now?

And while you're at it, why not cancel the semi-skimmed milk and replace it with full fat, uh?

Let's show no regard for the things that matter shall we? We have a player that's managed over 20 goals and yet we're asked to cash in for £7million?

Who would we replace him with? That div that ended up at derby, the player they bought from Ipswich, I forget how much but at least £5million, yet his record since just isn't comparable to Sharp. Make no mistake, Bill will want to be at his best next season, and it might be the difference between staying up or returning to the Championship........and yet a sale is still being considered?

Unfortunately yes. Theoretical billions will spent and every player theoretically replaced by the time it`s over.

The reality is that loaned players will go back to their parent clubs.

We will have 6 or 7 new players next season to challenge or upgrade not 77.
