My mate worked at the kennels where Samirs auntie got her Staffie and he's told me that being a couple hours drive north of London is causing him severe psychological distress.

He needs a good preseason, but he ticks all the boxes on ability. Get the feeling he will be either a star or a forgotten squad member, don't think this kid has a middle gear, either brilliant or shit.

Wilder has transformed three players from being at best in and out to looking like world beaters! Let's hope he can get inside the kids head in much the same way.

Changed the game 2nd half for us, thought he played really well and hope he stays....

There have been a few posts suggesting that Samir is finding it difficult settling in Sheffield. He is only 24 and a London lad from Islington,i suppose MK was fairly near home and not so much of a problem,it would be tragic to lose him if he can't settle.I think he could be a really big player for us next season,so hope fingers crossed.

He played well today, however you notice a hole opens up for the opposition to move into, that you don't get with Duffy.

Agree,he played well, made a difference, but not sure I agree about leaving a big hole JSS...For me he moved to play on the right of a 442 after Chapman came on for Wright for the last 20 odd minutes...Before that he did play in Duffy's role, and we looked better straight away, and he made the goal for Sharp after Coutts played him in down the right.

Carruthers is quality and I hope the rumours he is unsettled are wrong because he will be a big player for us next season

He has the potential to be the new Michael Brown for us.

Samir has obvious quality - exactly what we need going into the Championship. If he is unsettled somebody needs to sit him down and remind him of what an oppertunity he has next season.
