He has certainly shown improvement over the past few games and i have seen enough to suggest he has the ability to be a success. A few were on his back recently but i reckon that, in a team playing with a little more confidence, he could be a real class act at this level.

Agreed I would have brought Stead off to make way for King Beattie ... I think if Carney continues he could chip in with more a few more goals too

Carney got better as the game went on yesterday, bit baffled as to why he was taken off. But also baffled as to why Martin was too.
