It's really screwed them up mentally, the pub team from the pub league (worst pub league for years too) making it look pretty average.

Additionally small pub team Millwall are making a decent fist of it too in mid table.

Chansri is a business man. With an ego. He has his name on their shirts. On the billboards and gets enough kudos from the TV games each season.

Does he gamble to get in the PL? I think the attention he currently gets is enough to keep him happy. Foreign coach, a few games beamed around the world. His name everywhere.

As a person who has lived in Thailand and knows thais quite well, I think he will not rock the boat too much as it would be an admission of failure so far. Keeping the status quo, which isn't that bad as far as he is concerned versus the loss of face by having to sack his manager and start again - which may result in worse results and relegation.

He is sat in his office, and won't be too concerned enough to make changes. He will happily take 5-8 live games each season, a bit of limelight and the odd play off.

Good analysis. As an oriental he will suffer massive (no pun intended) loss of face if he acknowledges that his appointee is useless by sacking him.
Carlos' job is safe. At least until he decides he wants to move to another club. But who would want him ?
