Hudds losing today makes it interesting.
They play their game in hand on tuesday at Leyton Orient win that and they are 3 back of wendy.
Beat wendy and they go into third on GD.
If Hudds blow it at LO they will be out for revenge against wendy and Hudds have only lost twice at home.
It's interesting as what we should be looking for from Hudds' next two games. If they win both (and assuming we beat Bournemouth), with 5 games to go the table would be:
2. United 82
3. Hudds 77
4. Wed 77.
Some might say that a draw or defeat v Orient and a win v Wednesday would be better for us, in which case (assuming a draw v Orient) the table would be:
2. United 82
3. Wed 77
4. Hudds 75
I think we should be rooting for them to win at Orient. If they don't, then that pretty much ends their chance of automatic and they would probably be going into the game v Wed having resigned themselves to the play offs and thus concentrating on not getting injuries etc. If Hudds did wn both of their next two games (and again assuming we beat Bournemouth), we would be going into the last 5 games with a 5 point gap over both of our two main rivals, which you would think would make a fuck up very difficult.
