I'm guessing that based on previous purchases for players like JOC that 500k isn't that wide of the mark...However, if he's a future international then 1-2 Million might be a reasonable bid.

That said, Blackburn are the people that paid 9 Million for Jordan Rhodes... so you can understand a Blackburn fan seeing inflated football transfer fees.

500k for Done would be fine

Done will leave for virtually nothing, he is destined for a lower League 1 team at best, (Oldham is my bet) and the only way that most could afford his wages would be if they didn't have to pay a fee on top. Could see him going for as low as £75K, undisclosed of course!

I can see why they value him at 4-5m.

Having just been relegated from the Prem, Harry Maguire went for 17m. Therefore a fee for a relegated Championship defender should actually be around the 7m mark.

They're actually giving us a good deal here. We should be going in straight away with 4 to test the water.

I think Blackburn should realise their new status. When we played at Ewood Park on Mar. 5, 1993 in the QF of the FA Cup, the crowd was just over 15k and the stadium was a shithole. In the most blantant modern example of 'buying' the PL title, Jack Walker funded the players and ground improvements (still a shithole). Now they're where they really belong - the third tier.

behave yourself we need the 500k and Lenihan for Done, Done and his goals have just helped United get promoted whilst Lenihan helped get Blackburn relegated and chucked a yellow in every 4 games and even got sent off. Done is the finished article whilst this Lenihan sounds like a loose cannon that will need a lot of training...we'll need a million plus Done
