Norwich play every match like that they stay up the score flattered Liverpool Norwich looked a threat

Liverpool looked like a shadow of the team that finished on 97 points and the champions League last season yet found themselves 4 up without getting out of 2nd gear
Thought pukki looked lively and will do well this season
I can't see Liverpool being the side they were last season.thry just looked a bit groggy and disorganised last few games bet city aren't

I was hoping for 6-0 it’s not that I secretly like either team but come May I don’t want to be watching our goal difference as I think Norwich will be down at the bottom the more teams underneath us the better.

Spot on - I had the same thoughts only this morning .

Norwich 's success last season was largely as a result of the number of late goals they scored , often against weaker teams . That's not going to happen in the Prem and they will obviously concede even more than the 57 they let in last year .

Put these two things together and you have the perfect recipe for relegation and they are my clear favourites for that dubious honour .

After it was confirmed we were up conversation soon turned to next season and how we would cope, there are many differences between the divisions but one of the things I said at the time was give every premier league team 10 chances to score and they will score 5+ depending on who the team is, in the championship it would be 2/3, some of the lesser teams last season after being on the back foot against us would have 2 or 3 good chances,sometimes from nowhere and most of the time they missed. The difference between the level of strikers who can regularly finish, Norwich created some very good chances and couldn't take them, the Pucki goal however both from the build up and finish was top drawer,far too early to make judgement but as everyone has said Norwich haven't improved there defence so it looks like a difficult season,improving it in January could well be to late.

Look's like we will be about three or four games in before we play the system and personnel that's took the last two divisions by storm

Alot has been said about keeping to your identity and brand of football once promoted to the Premier League.

However I'm sure Norwich will be in two minds about that theory now.

Whilst playing positive attack minded footy should never be discouraged an element of realism and respect is required (especially when playing away)

The more I think about it the more I have to come to accept a flat 3 in midfield (with potentially also a defensive mid behind them) will be a feature of our away games this season love it or hate it.

Need outlets from defence, Norwich didn't even have a lone striker at times?

No chance if all your teams in the 18 yard box.

Biggest surprise was the lack of trying to kill the clock in the first ten minutes before the goal.

Rubbish. Liverpool took their foot off the gas in the second half. The scoreline flattered Norwich if anything.

That's like saying United 'imposed themselves' at Middlesbrough last season after going 3-0 down. The game was over and the opposition just relaxed.

Take Pukki's goals away and they're in trouble. It's going to be a long slog to the JTW for Norwich unless Farke can pull in a few favours from his German contacts - like loaning Bayern Munich! Chris Sutton's take:

After conceding their fourth goal, a lot of fans on Twitter were saying, 'Well, that's them down', as if it's a certainty. I don't buy that. Really, it is about how Farke's side respond.

They looked good up front at times. Marco Stiepermann had chances to score and Teemu Pukki got his goal. They now have to rally together and respond in a positive way.

At times when the 6 fingered ones were attacking on the right in the second half they had 4 players in the box, but all players were to the right of the penalty spot. Great pushing forward and all that but unbalanced. I agree that as much as they did 'win' the second half Liverpool let them.

i don't see the panic because as most have said including me, that Man City & Liverpool are 2 different beasts. 1 are the best in England, the other are the best team in Europe. as we have seen many times if you park the bus they will most likely pick you off & beat you. If you attack them they will most likely pick you off & beat you
