After last night, thought he would be worth a serious look, but today’s clickbait has him linked with a Middlesbrough

Not in Villa's squad tonight, with a 16 year old taking his place

I do hope he's not going to Boro

pity that could have seen him teaming up well with nidaye with this takeover business going on i think were gonna be left with the scraps that nobody wants at the end of january thats if of course we are bringing another striker in which does look debatable at the minute

Embargo 1-3 Recruitment

A perfect demonstration of the difference you can make in January

It was even a perfect demonstration of how it's sometimes worth signing a player just so your rivals don't get him

Archer won them the game. Him and Akpom were excellent, better 1 on 1 than all our defenders and we were shit scared of them

They are our only threat and thanks to our respective transfer window activity that threat is much bigger than it needed to be

Everything you have said in that message is true. To me it just underlines how crap our owners have been and how they have dragged managers and the team down.
And how lucky Boro has been with Gibson.
We get prisoners and scammers they get a local businessman plowing hundreds of millions in.
If Gibson had been our chairman with Wilder I reckon we would have won silverware and got in Europe.
Still "we ain't got a barrel of money"

I’ve been balanced on the Prince but it is pretty shameful they way he allowed the club to be under embargo right at the end of a transfer window.

As has been said, he’s been a catalyst for Boro. That wouldn’t have happened if he’d have been in our squad instead.

You know your club could be fooked when the off field events overshadow the on field events

absolutely spot on but for this transfer embargo we could have had archer and a couple more he would have been ideal for us well done the boardroom

How much longer is Brewster even out for? He's turned into some sort of mascot who just celebrates with the team and turns up on the promo videos.

If Boro don't go up, I think he'd be a great shout on loan. Villa look like they'll get some sort of European spot and they'd maybe be keen to test him at the level up.

Only 2 Prem loans available allowed next season (assuming the next 4 games go to plan!) so they'll be important and could even be make or break.

Archer is an interesting shout (if he's available - I can't see him getting into Villa's side just yet). Would he be able to play with Ndiaye (if he stays) and would the pair of them be able to hold the ball up sufficiently - I'm not sure
