Calm the fuck down

How many times are we going to sit here and say "we did alright, it'll come"?
Who are the 3 teams that are worse than us right now?
Do you need a tissue? I’m sensing you are hysterically crying.
however, when you take a breath you may see that poor runs of form happen. And luck is quite a big part of high level sport. The latter of which we are struggling to have. There are performance flaws which are known about by those in charge.
so going off what I’ve seen based on performance teams worse than us are:
Burnley
West Ham
Fulham
Newcastle (going off the current game)
And potentially West Brom.

We have lost our last 6 premier league games and scored one goal. There is no margin if the team doesnt score any goals. Wilder knows there is a problem as he will know something needs to change quickly for us to have a chance of making progress this season.

Which makes me annoyed with Wilder that other parts of the team took priority over getting more goal scorers in the squad.

I don’t recall mentioning anything about previous games.
however, what I have said is that yes the current results aren’t great but they aren’t indicative of the actual current situation. You need to look at the bigger picture fella.

What is the bigger picture? Zero points after three games and no goals. Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea to come in the next 5 games. Based on our recent form, do you see us taking points in those games? Fulham is opportunity to get points, but we need to start creating chances because we don't look a threat going forward to me.

nothing to cry over
we played well considering the enforced changes
once we got settled we created 15 chances today
their keeper picked today to be great
Im just astonished at how refs can miss bloody obvious kicks yet can hand our player a booking for winning the ball in a clean tackle

Wilder just needs a "peroni stop off" for the team bus and all we be right again next game

Im not denying the current situation mate. And believe it or not I’m a naturally pessimistic fan. But watching them today if wilder sorts that missing piece of the puzzle out in the next 3-5 games then yeah from that point onwards I can see us taking lots of points. I also see this current dip to really assess what the mentality of our players is really like.

Really? Losing to leeds is a perfect time to cry 😂. I know what you are saying mate I just think that if wilder gets what he wants from the transfer market/board then looking at how we played today we really have nothing to worry around. But I take the point at the moment there is a piece of the puzzle missing.
I hate to jump on the ref bashing train. But you are right, last 2 games have been soul destroying as a blade. Terrible decisions.

We will be absolutely fine. We were excellent today, luck just didn’t fall our way. The new signings, ramsdale, ampadu and Burke were especially impressive. Keep the performance levels like that and the points will come. Comfortably mid table again.

We will be fine - zero need for panic or kneejerk reactions.

We do NEED a centre forward though - just like at the start of LAST season too.

UTB

Look at our next 6 fixtures then tell us to calm down

Calm down.

The time to panic is if the window shuts and nobody snuck through it.

One more game and then an international break, get some stuff worked on with hopefully a couple of new signings through the door.

Good performance but luck against us.
No goals in the first three games for. first time in our history.O, Connell could be out for the rest of the season. we have good cover in defence and midfield.
stating the obvious struggling upfront.I might get panned for this.mcburnie..Sharp.mcgoldrick, not good enough. Burke looks ok. we need a striker that can do something out of nothing. Wilder has told the board this.tv pundits Michael Brown has said we need help up front. we all know it. if necessary break the wage budget
break the transfer record. come on Prince Abudlah release the funds now.or we will be in a relegation dog fight.i,m sure you and your board don,t want that.

Hopefully your right. I look at the team and we are without our best defender and forward long term plus our best midfielder last season (Fleck) is massively out of form. If we were losing 3-2 or 4-3 I'd be a bit more optimistic, but over the last 7/8 games, as soon as we concede its more or less game over.

no one knows more than Wilder we need help up front

after the match he sent an undisguised message to the board to that effect

I hope I’m right too. I’m saying this because we didn’t struggle with the overall performance today. Just a single aspect of it. Which like I’ve said, IF wilder gets what he wants then the problem will be fixed. Failing can be as if not more important than winning at times. But time will tell if it’s the case here.

Keep the tissues thanks. And your opinion on my state of mind :)

I’m worried. But I’m pretty calm.

I’m also a bit confused at being told to “calm the fuck down” by a poster who publicly wishes death to officials, and career-ending injuries to players, several times a week 🤷‍♂️

Yeah. It’s bloody frustrating mate. Even if wilder gets what he wants it’s still going to take a bit of time for it to come together.

Why did Wilder, then, spent all those quids on a pair of Championship-players from Derby, and why did he pay £18,5m for Ramsdale?

we needed a prem keeper to replace Henderson is the simple answer
we chased one but cant compete with villa on wages, just how it is
but if you have 30 million you could donate to the club we will be grateful

Not saying some of what you state isn't true, but perhaps the deals for decent forward players cost more money and with greedy agents are more difficult to put together.

We needed cover at the back (as evidenced by O'Connell being out now for season) and forwards. CW had addressed the need for extra squad players and it was definately needed imo just as high a priority as another forward. We now need to sort out the forward line as a matter of urgency before more points slip away.

I presume that the lack of funds is partly due to the Prince buying out KM's share + the property?

Last season we had the rub of the green on a number of occasions [CP & Everton away which produced 6 points spring to mind, & v few injuries] but so far nothing has gone for us, in fact the opposite is true, if it can go against us it has done.

I am hoping for a change asap!

Not a long wrong with us. There is a very decent SUFC side just under the surface.

It's clear as the pretty little nose on my FA e though that we need more quality up top. We cannot keep missing chances and expecting to win games in the PL. Fine margins and if we have a bit more quality up top, we win that game by a couple.

Some observations.
1) McGoldrick should be squad player now and isn't going to score regularly. Has a part to play but it should be more of a bit part this season.

2) it wasn't bad marking as such for their goal. The problem was the amount of space we gave their winger to put in a terrific cross. It wasn't like we hadn't been warned, he looked a threat all afternoon.

3) Rammers is a decent keeper and will be great for us this season.

4) can we start to have a few shots on target rather than trying to walk it into the net each week, please.

Sorry I couldn't agree more about their goal.

They got between our back 3 a number of times for free headers.

It's something any team try to do against a back 3.

I thought Robinson had his best game for us but whilst agreeing the cross was too easy, it was poor giving Bamford so much freedom there.

We need to stop crying about refs and score some fucking goals .Cant stand all the hard luck stories.

It's a Sheffield United trait. Self styled Big Blades will always blame a referee for an innocuous decision rather than criticise a player for a basic error.
