Player Suggestion Callum Paterson

Keeping in with the Scottish theme, I think Cal Paterson from Hearts looks very promising. Scored a fair few this season at a struggling club and he's only 19. Turned out for the Scottish u21s this year as well. What with Hearts' current financial woes he might be available cheap too.

Been seeing his name pop up a lot for Hearts this year but I imagine his ability to get forward and score is better than his ability to defend.

As a Hearts and Sheffield United supporter, you may think I'm biased but Callum Paterson is a quality player. He has the ability to play at right back, in midfield or as a striker. He is a player who would certainly appeal to NC, as he has made it clear he prefers working with a smaller, but adaptable squad. Despite Hearts being relegated due to a 15 point deduction, a lot of the players have committed their futures to the club. Paterson would definitely be an excellent addition to Cloughy's squad though.

Plus... he always grows his facial hair around November time. Has the potential to be the next John Brayford !!
