Question to those who watch the academy sides really.

How good is Callum?

The reason why I ask is that over on Porktalk there's a thread about them being interested in signing Kyle from Crawley (apparently a number of Championship sides are keen too).

A couple of 'friends' of Kyle/Callum have piped up that:
a) Man City are on the verge of buying Callum for big money, and
b) Real Madrid had him watched a season or two ago.

Now, I know he's highly thought of at the Lane, but is he as good as the two rumours above would suggest?

Also, is it worth us having a go at getting Kyle back seeing as he seems to have come on since he left us? Again, the 'friends' are saying he was let go due to a dodgy attitude off the pitch.

When I've watched him he's been ok but not stand out by any means.

Kyle still seems to be hot headed if you consider that he has had 9 yellows and 1 red from 40 appearances.
Not played much since he left in 2007, either.

These were rumours going round in the past couple of years about him there is nothing that you've posted there that I didn't hear last summer.

I don't believe any of it to be true.
