Whut.....?

Cabanga is an African word meaning ‘to think’ or ‘imagine’ - dependent on the context. The word has its origin in the Bantu languages of southern Africa, specifically Zulu, which is the most widely spoken home language of South Africa. The word is used for a number of reasons, and is currently being used as part of a UK advertising campaign for either a song, or an unknown brand.

I have discovered I have an email from the company that run the United OS that has the word Cabanga in it.
It has nothing to do with United, it's just linked with the OS.

Sender details on mine..

Sheffield United Football Club [[email protected]]

ie as far as my inbox/filters are concerned, the email is from Sheffield United Football Club. If it's not, are they happy for other organisations to send their shite using the Clubs' name?

Again, not looking for a row, and deleting takes even me nanoseconds, but don't see how you can claim it's nothing to do with us when we are the mail delivery mechanism.

Dear Linz,

We all want the boys to win in South Africa this summer, but most of us think we'll inevitably get knocked out at some point after the group stages. So if we really want to help them win (without strapping boots on ourselves) then we need to use the power of the 12th man.

A Neuropsychologist has found that the power of the mind can actually influence results. Experiments show that this mental energy is strongest when unified under a single positive word. And if we all focus on this one word then doubt is less likely to creep in.

That word is Cabanga (it means 'imagine' in Zulu if you're interested).

We know with a greater number of believers, we can get more power and energy behind the word.

With this in mind we're aiming to reach 90,000 fans (that's around the capacity of Wembley Stadium) on our facebook page, to help our boys win this summer.

So show your support, be part of Cabanga and together we can help bring home the cup.

The header image is called "TexacoCabanga" so I'm guessing it's something to do with them as sponsors of the Football League.

Plus, if they're bringing old chocolate bars back, I'd like to see the Fry's Five Flavour bars first.
