Sheffield United have been linked with former Manchester United, England and Birmingham City Midfielder Nicky Butt who plays for Newcastle United.

Butt, 31 years old was due to sign for Birmingham City after playing 29 games at the St Andrews club whilst on loan, but with relegation falling the Blues way its unlikely that the former Red Devils Midfielder will join Steve Bruce's side.

It is rumoured that the Blades could pay up to £1,000,000 for his services which as part of the deal would come with him 38 caps for his Country, something no other Blades player has achieved so far.

Coudl be a good signing but true this article is from blades mad so i wouldnt read to much into it.

Id imagine Brum want rid due to them being relegated and now not been able to afford his wages due to less income coming into the club.

To Be Honest I'd be happy with that, £500, 000 isn't bad money for an ex-England international.
