Why would he?
He's made it perfectly clear it's the Blades he wants to join. If for any reason MK dig there heels in I can see him sitting out his contract.

I know and I was surprised to hear this even more surprised when I was told the money on offer . It's not 100% that he has chosen Burton but he is having a medical there so make your own mind up .

He was talking to United when Clough was in charge and him being sacked lead to us not singing him last summer, so it is possible.

I suppose if Burton go in offering a lot more than we are and his prospects for joining us look unlikely, then it is possible.

sounds like a cunning plan Baldrick, and then we swap him for Brayford? Yes m'lord ;)

Ongoing.....

As of five thirty pm last night...

Source.....Alan knill, after I asked him at SPS how it was going on with mcfadzean... It's not over till it's over the line though..

Macfadzean apparently said he wanted to move back to this area. So if he can't get to the Lane then Burton sounds feasible?

I wouldn't be too bothered if we don't sign Kyle, whilst I would like him to come I think we could get another experienced CB and don't think we are too shabby now in defence.
Wright and Wilson could complement each other well as a partnership, with O'Connel as a quality back up. Bash is also more than competent as a last resort.
I would prioritise signing a nasty git in midfield actually,to sit in front of the defence.

We'll go for Kevin Long if it doesn't happen, and I'd be happy with that. But it will happen. Hopefully within a week.

O'connell will be starting as the LCB.We wouldn't pay a 'substantial' fee for a backup. Wright will be the backup.

You might be right but O'Connel is still young. If he doesn't gel with Wilson or doesn't perform then CW may opt for the older, more experienced leader.

25, 6ft 3. Brought up at Burnley where they play the game the right way. He'll do for me...

I've thought exactly the same about Burnley. They're a good club to sign defenders from. They've been solid for years, and everyone involved will have gained a lot from being a part of it.

Or Portugal ?

I wouldn't put it past Clough to sign him just to be a prick.
Then put him in the reserves for two years for blowing his nose too loud or summat.
