Burrows is better than McCallum. Full stop.

Especially if we try to play wing backs.

Seriki and Burrows at wing backs is the very last morsel of hope I have left.
Great post especially the bit you made up about burrows being better than mcallum
Funniest thing ive read in years
Thanks for that

I did read that Burnley May get a £30 million wind fall from Everton based on Everton’s overspend which they got 6 pts deducted but the season after although the FA knew about it before hence Everton would have been relegated (hope you’re still with me) Everton have already agreed an amount with Leeds.

You're saying certain clubs get special treatment? Well I never.

No I’m not saying that at all I’m quoting from a news source, you can take the information and read as you like as I’m not in the know just passing on the story.

mcallum is better than burrows as lb in a back 4 burrows is better than mcallum as a lwb in a back 5 which actually think is the way to go for us would make us more solid at the back with more threat down the flanks and for me 3 midfielders with donovan more central in behind bamford in a free role seriki once fit would give us the width and pace on the right

Funy because when Burrows and seriki played wing backs in a back 5 last season they were dog shit

I want to like Burrows but he's so rubbish, I just can't. He goes forward and runs down dead ends, usually losing the ball and when the opposition get it and attack he's blowing out of his arse and not making any attempt to get back and cover. He's one of the slowest players on the pitch. When we are holding our shape...he isn't. He's too close to the centre half, leaving his man and when he does go to get the block in he's off balance because he can't read the player.

Him and Tanganga are great together, neither one has a fucking clue about reading the game and they're a liability when they're on the pitch together.

two good players are required in both LWB and RWB positions.
If they do their job of getting up and down the line they will be knackered and require rotation
Not necessarily.

Stevens and Baldock played all season more or less 2 seasons running alongside basham and Joc (who both acted as wingbacks pretty much).

Freeman before that played all leason league one with lafferty as wing backs.

You dont need to rotate often if you have players that have a decent amount of fitness and a good injury record.

I think it's the exception that proves the rule, players like Freeman managed one season where they started nearly every game, it's not usually sustainable. Baldock and Stevens managed to have a few seasons like that, but we always had backups and tried to manage their minutes.

It’s funny isn’t it? If you want to be able to do a marathon you usually train and build yourself up but then when the time comes you’ve probably done a couple in your own time.

So if we always look to take players off, and if it’s the same players, just as an example, then how wilL they ever get used to doing he extended minutes?

He had one season beacuse following season we signed Baldock who was a better player, that saw freeman's minutes cut down.
