Outgoing? Burrows

I’d be amazed if Burnley had any money to spend in January without big sales. All a bit chaotic over there at the moment.

I do agree if your wanting a solid LB defending but right now we actually miss Burrows goals contributions.

Except when we were playing a back 4 that was justified. Now CW looks like he is finally going to a back 3 Burrows, and Seriki when fit, would be the 1st 2 names on the team sheet for me.

I don't recall criticism of Seriki at all. Save for a few idiots saying he can't defend (he can). They did the same for Bogle. I don't think they watch football
 
I've always liked Burrows. I think he was out of form last season. 3-5-2 would also suit him better.

Get McCallum upfront to flick on Tanganga's hoof balls

Agreed, although in a back 5 it would be interesting to see if Seriki and Burrows had something more to offer in an attacking sense.

Seriki has an incredibly high ceiling but the injuries are massively hindering his ability to kick on to the next level.
I really thought his trajectory would've taken him towards being a £12-15m full back last Summer, but our poor season and his inability to stay fit meant the only offer we had was much less than half of that.
 
I'm taking this guy over McCallum every time. Really don't see the hype about McCallum, seems a nice enough lad but not a great defender and offers little going forward. Burrows underperformed like everyone last year, hopefully we get him back playing with confidence and he'll be back to his best like in the 2024/25 season.

If anything Seriki can't attack. He has excellent recovery pace and often wins his battles but when he gets into dangerous situations he rarely does anything with it. Very similar to Walker.

Always felt Bogle was unfairly criticised because he was defensively fine but he was compared to Baldock who was excellent. He was also a great attacker which made is average defending look worse by comparison.

I was one of those who preferred McCallum over Burrows last year but since we've lost Hamer/O'Hare/Brooks we need creativity from somewhere and can cover him with a more industrious midfield
 
Nothing makes a player better than not playing. Anyone excited for Burrows coming back much have completely deleted last season from their memory.

We need what little quality we can get, and we need as much depth as we can get. Again, I'd see him as LM option in a 3 behind the striker. Let RND and McCallum alternate for LB.

It doesn't hurt to have the option or the extra body, but personally I've lost all hope in him. I think he wants away. I don't like him at LW either to be honest, I want another Donovan over there, but he can cross a ball I suppose.

Burrows is better than McCallum. Full stop.

Especially if we try to play wing backs.

Seriki and Burrows at wing backs is the very last morsel of hope I have left.
