Wonderful Wath
No-one seems to have really mentioned him on here (sorry if I have missed it) I thought he looked solid, came out and punched and caught well, gave Walker a bollocking when he sold him short with a back pass, and made the save when needed. Well done Mr Bunn:thumbup:

Agree with most of that. Good debut and did what was required - clean sheet.

Most noticeable for me was his long kicks down field. Could create a few goals there.

Makes a change from Paddy shanking them out on the half way line, I suppose;)

Rudders

In the running for man of the match for me... Didn't see him put a foot/glove wrong. Interesting to see a Blades goalie commanding his area AND shot stopping.

Can't judge a man on one match though, but positive start I thought.

He looked very good to me, but to be fair I am no great lover of Paddy, I believe his distribution of the ball is shocking.

Does that make him a hot cross Bunn ?

Very Good.

Thought he was great, looked a lot more solid with him from crosses, no panic in the six yard box every time one came in! Controversial it might be but would Paddy have got down quick enough to the Yeats effort?

he looks the icing on the cake (or bunn) haha i thought o CRUMBS when walker did that short back pass but he sorted it
sorry about that but iv been gagging too ha
on a serious note i think he looked really good strong in the air, a good shot stopper, great kick, and not scared to give the defenders a good shouting when something is wrong from his only performance looks really positive.

Bunn's kicks seem to go to Hendo's head nearly every time. Reminded me of Simon Tracey's accurate kicks to Brian Deane's head. The understanding was so great and opponents during the 1989-90 season (apart from L**ds as Wilko had ordered Carl Shutt or Bobby Davison to unsettle Tracey by staying very close to him when the keeper takes a drop kick) found it difficult to deal with it

Yes, I liked the look of him too, though it was not possible to see much from an awful Internet feed Fri and 30 seconds of highlights Sat.

Feel a bit sorry for Bennett though. This would have been his big chance to be first choice. I can't see a future for him now, presuming Paddy returns.

I thought he made it look like a piece of cake..... :tumbleweed:

Seriously though, I thought he did well. Great kicker of the ball which is already a massive bonus considering what Paddy gives us!!

Bunn impressed me. For someone so new to a team, he seemed so comfortable playing with his colleagues, and wasn't afraid to communicate with his back line. He commanded his box well, kicked well, and pulled off a couple of great saves. He certainly looks promising.

I'd agree with you all that Bunn looked very impressive and seemed very settled considering it was his first game for us. His distribution was excellent adn only time will tell if it was a fluke or something more. I must add though that I am a big Kenny fan but I'm not sure he would have got to that shot from Yeates.

I thought he was excellent. He did what he had to do and helped to keep a clean sheet. Well done.

More of the same please :)

I too was very impressed.

Surely if Paddy is suspended for two years then we should sign Mr Bunn on a permanent contract.

(I'm too old for jokes).
