I wondered that too. The official site always features summer stalwarts like the pitch being reseeded, the railings being painted and the seats being cleaned. You'd have thought building work would be worth a banner headline or seven....

I wondered about this also! I know all the private boxes, the 1889 restaurant, ticket & promotions plus the store have all been refurbed but can't think of any building work!!!

It's work experience and they get a couple of free tickets in return so probably not that exploitative. I suspect no-one was compelled to do it.

How are all these minor improvements (in the grand scheme of things) which will probably add up to quite a tidy sum, being funded?

HRH's quid is supposedly directed straight into player strengthening

McCabe I understand has transferred the assets, so therefore becomes his responsibility. Is this funded by him personally, or does the cost come out of the football club revenue streams?
