Yeah would be an odd thing to say right now in the context of us reportedly being in talks with quite a few free agents if we didn’t have a confirmed budget.

There is a misconception regarding free transfers as they are not free really.
Signing on fees and agent fees can be quite expensive. Can pick up some real bargains if you do your homework and get in before they are snapped up .
That's our way forward it seems! The reason why Hecki needs to know what he has to use to get the players within the said budget

The club set out in November it's plan kids and self sustaining. Daft they didn't know or tell the mananger what the two Budgets would be on promotion and not when he was asking publicly for a few weeks but yes this story is old
