Cheers Sean. So it isn't unreasonable to suggest any new signings require ballancing with outgoings unless the owners are happy to make "extra",not "game changing" investment available.

I'm not interested in slanging matches,just interested on getting near the truth as to what we all as Blades and investors in our own ways can look forward to this year vis a vis the owners willigness to progress our club under our manager.

Sorry SBT, missed this. I don't think it's an unrealistic situation. No one knows the monies available from the owners ( and £5.2m was invested in shares at the very end of the last financial year remember).

The one certainty is that it was categorically stated that the Princes spending power would become apparent in the Championship. No ambiguity there. (It's not like the game changing comments which were open to interpretation, or Liverpool, wrongly attributed to McCabe). Now while we do not know how much, I can't see where we've had any input on that score in team strengthening . There are a few days left so hopefully that will happen.
