In all honesty, I can see both sides of the issue here, but don't see why it's become such an abrasive area.

For me, the biggest difficulty is the new nicknames. I can't get used to them. For me, Jim Chimmererery can never be anything other than Fleety, Santos can never be anything other than Kozzy and Houso can never be anything

Indeed, it's a bit like when you're conversing in a language that you're not great at, and have to mentally convert into English before you can respond.

I can understand how that would niggle, but it's the same for the new members joining in that they have to get their heads round existing in-jokes etc. Plus, any time someone does preface a reference with an explanation, we get told off for talking about the good old BU days *shrug*

I did put the we refference thnigs from before as well, cos we have in jokes that need some explanation sometimes.

all in all we are all on here for one reason, Sheffield United.

Please don't let what seems to be a really good site slide into the drivel of BU. I for one stopped posting on there because of all the childish comments etc. Don't get me wrong I love a good old row/debate but not personal insults from the safety of someones Pc.!!!!!!!!UTB
