All in all i'm a bit meh towards this.

He needs to get more game time, get fit and start scoring, otherwise he's just another Marcus Bent

Strange one IMO. I just dont understand how he's going to get fit enough to make a contribution given he's banned for 3 matches and only gets 10 mins a game. We're approaching the real "business" end of the season I dont see DW gambling and giving him more game time. Only a good deal if its Pay as you Play, otherwise a waste of a wage.

If he's fit, firing and getting games then its a no brainer...

But he's neither fit, firing nor getting games.

The money could've been better spent on a player who's ready now.

That said, BT knows the club, is a big influence and is happy to be with us. He has bags of experience and the sheer fear factor in defenders seeing Cresswell/ Ched being replaced after running them ragged for 85 mins as BT takes to the field could be the difference between 3 pts and 1

I should love to see Billy Clarke added to the list. I think that might just be enough goals to share about to nullify the threat of mester Rhodes and keep us in automatic contention.

We can score goals this season and if Beattie just gets some between now and May I cant see it being a bad thing.

He needs to use this ban to get fit and firing.
