On the one hand great for them to get experience at a big club who are under pressure, and pressure is how diamonds are made.

On the other hand if Egan gets injured we are a bit short at the back so I wonder/hope we have a recall clause for Lopata.

Our midfield hasn't been convincing so hopefully Brunt can make the case that he can add something to do when he returns.

Best of luck to both of them, easier for Roygbiv to keep an eye on at least they have a proper fan's forum ;)

Would have preferred them to sign for a club with more a positive atmosphere.

Good Luck cos Southend have been dire this season.

I'm not sure, it's certainly a chance for them to make a name for themselves as there is a lot of attention/expectation at Southend at the moment with Collymore etc.

It would be similar atmosphere were they to ever play here, and as they are desperately struggling they are likely to start matches and hopefully make an impact, we'll see!

Hopefully they will make an impact, I like Southend and Darren Currie.

I've played at Roots Hall and I was half their age. They'll be fine. Great challenge for them that and a chance to make their names. GLTTLs

It's only like 8 weeks until January.

Good luck to both youngsters , i think southend will turn it around and these two will be a big success
