Mate, I need to tap into your knowledge base regarding how to organise a car park demo to get rid of our chairman, the man who makes true Blares like us physically ill. I will even pay the rent a muppet crowd you got a few cans as long as they put a McCabe banner on the Dooley statue. Any help much appreciated. Cheers.

Sorry, 'true Blades like us' not Blares. Hope to hear from you.

Mic It is easy. Why not buy him out?

What would this demo look like ?

Leeds, Watford, Wendy and Forest have all found foreign investors recently. Sunderland have just signed a £20m per season shirt sponsorship.

The money is out there.

There is money out there, but I think we need to be further into the financial shite than we currently are to get a buyer.

Alternatively, we could get a buyer, like rangers did - bought the club on future speculated season ticket sales and didn't have the cash... And now look at them. Ok so that and Pompey are extreme examples, but we need to be careful as its clear that the "fit and proper" test means nothing.

As long as we can build a reasonably sized squad (with no pending criminal trials) then we can get ourselves out of this division.

Loads of clubs have sold out to foreign speculators who are racking debt against the club and putting them in a precarious position. I'd rather have what we've got than us be taken over by a Pompey, Brum or Cardiff style buyer.

Before anyone jumps on me for being happy about being in the third division, that's a different conversation.

This is the only way to protest......

I do wish McCabe would bugger off though ;)

Confucius say "easy to blame chairman when team do badly." i probably dont know as much about the situation as you lot, but i dont get the vitriol directed at McCabe. whether or not he's done a good job, i cant think of any time he hasnt been acting in United's best interests. if he sells up now, we could up in the soup big time. anyone could take over and we could easily end up getting a lot worse, embroiled in scandal, managed even worse or asset stripped.

Steps say "better the devil you know."
