I reckon brooksy must think this club is going places in the near future, to sign a 4 year contract is a big show of confidence in the club and management, he will have had advice from his agent and others, would have been easy for him to say no, or even just a 12 month extension but he has signed for 4 years! Unbelievable, just keeps getting better and better, well done indeed United.

Look st the careers of David Brooks and Jermaine Sinclair.

Sinclair was the youngest player to ever play for Liverpool. He was rated as similar (but not quite as good) to Rahim Sterling.
Sinclair receives an improved offer from Liverpool but instead he takes the biggest contact of £22K a week at Watford.
Sinclair has hardly played a game in years but he seems happy enough on his £22K a week over 4 years.
He’s now a millionaire but hardly played any football.
Wilder knows he a rough diamond and believes he could make him a star.

Brooks could have easily become an instant millionaire
But he’s obviously got confidence in his ability, loves the game and just wants to play.
Well done David .... always thought you were grounded but you’ve gone up in my estimatation.

on a serious note, been talking to a piggy, they are fuckin hating it at the moment, still don't get it tho! Said were on a lucky run and normal service will be resumed soon.... Knobs - lucky run lasting over a year, quality players, team spirit, top manager, ground not held together with rust.. Tides have changed fuckwits. Brilliant news on Brooks signing, if and when he leaves hopefully this guarantees a substantial amount, but not before both him and the blades have developed from current positions.

On an aside, for all the stick he got in his time with us, Neil Collins is doing the club a service now with his write-ups and kind words. I imagine it's the type of thing prospective players or young 'uns look out for - an old pros opinion on a club. I hope he keeps it up.
