I think for me now this has swayed Chris Wilder at the top of my pile as being the best Blades manager in as much as what he has done for the club in my lifetime. I was only eight in 1971 the John Harris stuff didn't really do anything for me.
Dave Bassett has been my top manager for many years he dragged us out of the doldrums and gave us some good times (if not great football).
But what Chris has achieved on and off the field is just some of the best stuff I can ever remember. I am absolutely made up by this signing.
It is just a fantastic time to be a Blade from the turmoil of just two years ago, being the laughing stock of the city,to where we are now.
The city will be ours for a long time I reckon.
I feel rather emotional
