We all talk about a Manager out of his depth etc. etc.
But I for one am disappointed with the players, they did this last season under DW (MK I), of going out and giving 60% every game, because they know that the Manager has to be the fall guy.
They pick up good wages every week, (they earn more in a month than most of us get in a year) and they can't even go out there and give a 100% effort to try and win games.
Instead DW standing there making excuses for them, they should be man enough to stand up and explain to the fans why they are such lazy bunch of Twats.
Yes, I know the 'Buck stops with the Manager' but some these players need to stand up and be counted.
Neither can I - I'm fecking useless on it!He could not manage a team on Football manager.....

I thought that after just hearing his interview but now after seeing it aswell. ChristSaw the interview on Look Leeds last night and I have to say that was one of the saddest interviews I've ever seen. It was gut wrenching and Weir looked so dejected, defeated and dare I say it, depressed
If I was his line manager at work I'd be very worried as to his emotional state and watching him closely.
This is not the David Weir I saw when he was appointed. This is a man under severe stress. WI thought that after just hearing his interview but now after seeing it aswell. Christ![]()

The first manager I worked under here went through a similar experience. The team lost 7 of their first 14 and won only 2. It was horrible to see him deteriorate. He was/is a good coach but he just couldn't get the players to play. The players were prima donnas. There were large schisms in the dressing room. The players were the ones to blame and the supporters and owners knew this. Eventually he was relieved of his duties and replaced by a 56 year old disciplinarian who took no shite from the players. We eventually finished mid table. The way the manager was at the end reminded me of that interview Weir did after Hartlepool. The next season there was a mass clearout of the shite and we were promoted to the second division. As for the poor manager I visited him for 8 months after his sacking and he was really broken. He found it hard to even function on a simple day to day basis. Thankfully he is now recovered and is back in football as a respected coach.
I feel very sorry for David Weir, no human being deserves to be that depressed. He needs an arm round his shoulder from above. But he is in football and we all know we are judged by results. If you're shit you soon found out and you have to come to terms with it, simple as that. I was replaced last year as manager of the U21's by someone who never played the game. He already has more wins than I did from half the amount of games. Hard as it is, I now accept I am not a manger. I am, so I'm told, a half decent coach. Ho Hum.
I am now off to see Germany play Ireland. Don't know who to support.
