I am sure there was a clause with cash if Swansea went up as part of the Leon deal. Any idea how much?

The star said there was a couple of weeks ago but not sure how much. Anything is welcome though

I thought it was around £400K, enough to sort out a decent contract for young Jordan eh ?

There is definitely a cash clause in there you would expect around 400k-500k like jim said. It was mentioned a few weeks ago (can't remember where) when they got to final.

What Jordan is being offered is a decent contract, if he wants to force a move then fuck him off.

Any who thinks Jordan should be given his 7K contract needs to get their head read. Maybe if he scores 25 goals next season but not now.

If not then queue up The Clash.

I agree with this a couple of k yes maybe but he hasn't earnt the right to be demanding more really.

I would suggest that its not such a daft argument when you consider we'll probably pay another Collins or Doyle that sort of salary!

I presume the £7K a week is what Fulham are offering, but if we were to match that I suspect that would put him amongst the top earners at the club once the reduced contracts are drawn up, and there's no way that would happen (nor should we do it just to keep him).

New contract, yes, knuckle down and see what happens but if he wants to go then so be it but it has to be along the same lines as the Kyle W deal which seems to be what McCabe is saying.

i would,nt bank on any money from leons deal, to be spent on team affairs, big kev will have spirited it away all ready, probably gone towards collins & doyles bonus !

Would hate to see any of the youngsters go. But if Fulham have been told 3M or no deal then that's about the best we could expect the club to do in the current circumstances. And if Slew really is a billy-big-bollocks (and I'm not sure we know that to be the case other than by innuendo ) then good riddance, and hope he enjoys stagnating in their reserves.

edit - off topic re Slew - sorry. I doubt it'll be a 6 figure sum for Brittan.

thats from an ex director at the lane. Also said they have slapped 3mil on slew. Huddersfield also agreed a price for 2 of our squad if they had gone up. Dont know which 2 and what will happen now

Surely the key part of that quote is "ex director". Would an ex director still have any right or access to inside info?
