Awful track but it did get you in the mood. A much better choice would've been Jaydee's Plastic Dreams but it wouldn't have been on Gary's radar. I remember dancing to this at 6am in Nimmos (Niche) on Sidney Street one Friday night in 1993, then going for breakfast before heading straight to the match. Just the thought of that makes me feel ill now

It's the first song my lad asks for on Alexa when it's Matchday - we absolutely LOVE IT!

Nothing topped it pre match for getting you in the mood for the game, it's instantly linked to Bramall Lane and Matchday for me!

Had no idea what that song was called but now I've looked it up on YouTube I remember some years ago seeing 2 away fans in the upper tier dancing up and down the rows to this for the entire song. I can't remember which team it was but they only had about a dozen fans in there including those two dancing fools.

I don't know if Love Parade made me nervous, or I get nervous before games so I associate that song now with shakes, goosebumps and sweaty palms.
Regardless, I loved it. It really got the blood pumping and the energy levels up.

I have to admit, I play Da Hool almost religiously before a United match. I wish they brought it back at the Lane, great tension building song.
