Evening all - well, in between nappy changes, I found time to record a quick podcast in which I'm very pleased to be joined by Liam Tharme of Albion Analytics as well as the frankly superbly named podcast, Expected Gulls.

We discussed the upcoming match between the Blades and Brighton, the transformation of Albion from Chris Hughton to Graham Potter, the brilliance of ex-Brighton player Oli Norwood, and the fact Neil Maupay always seems to score against United...

Nothing prepares you for the stench of stage 2 either. It is quite something.

Where did this idea come from that Maupay always scores against us though?

As far as I can tell he's scored against us only once, last season with the opening goal in our 3-2 win at Griffin Park.

Is this our own version of the Billy Sharp phenomenon, where everyone thinks the same of him regardless if it's true or not..

We're ok though as we have numerous strikers that always score against Brighton.

My tip for a Brighton goal would be Dan Burn, he's tall, we courted him for years and you just know that the infamous Dan Burn thread will be bumped this weekend.

Wait for the exploding nappy. My little one was in a sling strapped to my chest fast asleep. Mrs Bruce was asleep on the sofa and I decided to get some PS time in. So I moved the armchair a few feet away from the telly. Moments later Jr Bruce squirted a jet of molten brown, which escaped the nappy and coated the screen.

Absolutely horrendous and impressive at the same time. I was tempted to rush them into A&E as I'm pretty sure their anus must have been lodged somewhere in the speaker the force was that great!

They used actual mustard at the ante natal class I went to as part of nappy-changing practice.

Needless to say I didn’t have a pork pie for a while after that.

Just wanted to say thanks for the intelligent podcast, amazing how you can put the pros to shame with some actual insight (although I don't think that guy needed to remind us about the three consecutive promotions).
