Brian Thackery ..... plenty of threads about him on here. Most of them not complimentary about his time as manager of a team that played in the Meadowhall Sunday League. Did give one of the funniest team talks I ever saw though at half time after the ref had sent him off their ground at Handworth WMC and he gave the team talk over the privet on Handsworth rec with him on the rec side and the team on the club side!

I think he was known as 'Bruno' in his younger days. If that's him, I've played against him a few times. Good player but a dirty bastard. Seemed a decent enough bloke though... He's just a WUM on FH, don't take him too seriously.

I rarely listen to Football Heaven or Praise or Grumble anymore, the main reason being that they seem to have a policy that everyone that comes on must be an idiot. I know they will never get away from this completely, but some intelligent debate should be the main focus. Now the more intelligent callers seem a rarity.
