I'm with you, I dont think for Sheffield United, McB will ever be banging them in for us whatever the division.

Not to say he's not got talent... just for some reason players don't perform at one club but do at others, such is life

Agreed. Didz has been our player of the season but he was incredibly poor yesterday. The ball to play Rhian through wasn't difficult at all, the young lad showed how to play a through ball moments later.
When are people going to realise that our strikers are going to struggle, while we stick to this turgid system that doesn't work anymore with 0 creative players behind them.
But idiots just come on here stating 22 games 0 goals etc... Make some chances, then see if he comes good (which he will) .

The thing to realise is that we'll be playing in the Championship next season....McBurnie has already proven he's a top performer at that level.
He should be one of the best strikers in the Championship next season......however I agree that some players fit some clubs better than others.

We are probably going to have to wait until next season to see this.
To be fair to the lad we have hardly created much for him. We have the worst goals scored record in the Premiership, we simply don't create enough chances for our strikers. Plus most of his appearances have been as substitute when we are chasing games.
It would have been really interesting to see how he would have done if McGoldrick would have got that pass right yesterday.
Anyway I'm backing him too be a success for the Blades, I'll put £10 on him being top scorer next season in the Championship(Sorry Rhian more pressure on your shoulders).

Agree with most of that. When people criticise Brewster, perhaps they ought to consider the fact that many strikers new to the Premier League struggle to make an impact for quite a while, even in good teams. Timo Werner at Chelsea is a good example of that, and he was red hot in Germany.

I have been one of the biggest critics of Brewster and Mcb , but yesterday i though they both showed signs of improvement , Mcb needs to play in the link up roll , and if Chris shoves him up front again the next next match , he clearly didn't see what i saw , and Brewster looked better , put some lovely balls through and tried more , that's all he has to do to win me over just put some effort in and don't expect it to happen by strolling around the pitch acting Mr big gangster , when your falling over every 2 mins .

It’ll come didzy has been speaking really positively about him lately saying he’s been telling him what he wants to see from him and what to work on pre game if he can mentor him a tad it should really help.

As of now: Assuming Mousset stays, I would start the season with Sharp, and Mousett with McGoldrick behind them.

Brewster and McBurnie have both failed to score for far too long, that they will have to fight hard to get back in as starters. Burke should always be a sub.

Everyone is saying he doesn't get the service etc but if you look at both of Southampton's goals yesterday, i.e. the run to make the penalty and the shot and then swap brewster into the exact same position he would have done absolutely fuck all

The first would have been a comfortable jog back for Ampadu and the 2nd would have been a miss control and probably ended up with a break away attack

Che Adams was about half the price of brewster but looks 10 times the player

The problem with your argument is there are factual statistics that prove that he is currently out of his depth as a premier league striker, he's not scored or made an assist in 20 odd appearances

He is young and may come good but there is nothing to test that against at the moment, it's far from a fact that he will
