Brewster

It was massively over hit. It just needed tapping into Moores stride on his right side, as the defender was on his left shoulder.
Even if it hadn’t been over hit Moore would have needed a telegram telling him to start his run as he seemed unable to judge when to do more than once today. That doesn’t mean Moore lost us the game though.

Sounds easy, fancy a game.

Wilder said post match that he was not fully fit, though many others were even less fit.
Haven’t we already had a claim today that Wilder tells lies………

He did more than Hamer. Who always evades criticism. Compared to Mejbri for example today he was absolutely pathetic

Brewster is contributing more than expected. He's a decent player. Just fucked up 2 important passes today
We need a striker that can run at defenders with confidence instead of the easy way out and pass it away for someone else.

Not an excuse for Brewster. Not for me to make up excuses for anyone else. Just pointing out he was ill today and despite this, volunteered to play. That's all really. Whether you think that's 'Bullshit' is up to you.
Why play him then? Just replace Rak-Sakyi with Brooks

This see.s to be a recurring thing with our squad. Lots of time we get a one on one, but the ball gets passed back

You all know my view of Brewster but I’m not sure where the criticism comes from today. He was probably one of the more lively players when he was on the pitch.

Not really sure why he was played in a ‘10’ as it displaced O’Hare but Brewster was far from the worst player today.

Thought he was alright. No one played well except Davies, but he was probably the least terrible after Tom.

Brewster will leave on a free at the end of the season, he'll likely have to drop down a league but when he does he'll have a career like Jon Stead, scoring goals in the lower leagues.

He won't ever be good enough for Champ/Prem

They put in a lot of effort, but I struggle to recall any attacking contributions they made that surpassed what Brewster offered.

Brewster managed to win a few headers, disrupt some opposing attacks, and delivered a couple of decent crosses.

He may not have been the standout player on the pitch, but I certainly don't believe he was the worst either & not worthwhile releasing in January
O’Hare played totally out of position to accommodate Brewster. Not sure why but I still like Brewster but not the best idea to shoehorn in him and isolate the industry of O’Hare out to wide right through.

He is a little boy amongst men. Anyone who defends this fucking moron is a fool. He can’t effect a game in any way. I play weekends, and there are strikers who I play against that are better than Brewster. Him ‘trying his best’ means nothing, 30,000 blades in the ground would try their best but they’d be shit. He is absolutely shit and needs to never see the pitch again. Sorry but it’s true.

Maybe tell the strikers you play against to give Wilder a call? Or stop talking bollocks?

Err, it’s not true. You should be sorry though. How many of those strikers have Young England caps, u17 FIFA winners medals, a goal in that final and a Golden boot, plus u21 caps and a goal?

You’d typically shoehorn a player worthwhile shoeing in.. the brewsternator isn’t that player. League one beckons you shit, useless bastard.

Not sure. You had better ask CW that question i suppose.

I would have started with Brooks myself, but then I'm not SUFC manager nor do I see the players training each day. Neither do you.

Made two bad decisions all day….feels like something other than football motivates prejudice against Brewster?
Like what? Why would anyone Blades fan have a motive not to want him to do well? But ultimately he’s on a lot of money and he failed to have any influence on the game. Tell me a great pass or a great bit of skill he did that made any difference today.

Agree. Possibly there was an opportunity to change formation a bit for me Brewster looked good vs Millwall up top. Id have quite liked to have seen Moore & Brewster up top. But we were offering nothing on the wings.

The alternative was to just start Brooks on the right instead of playing Brewster

Think you're talking out of your arse mate

I forget, how many of those pointless accolades actually help the club that has paid 7million+ to the person who did them

I used to think he was a prank being played on Sheffield United fans. And now I see some saying he’s not that bad, so I’m taking it personally and saying you’re all in on it to attack me personally, you bastards.

He is absolutely atrocious. Absolutely atrocious
It’s not only you. Pound for pound he is the worst player in the clubs history. 5 goals in 4 years for 23 million and 35k a week and yet there’s idiots who defend him. Absolutely gobsmacking really.

We have been waiting over 4 years for him to look good and we are still waiting

Have you been expecting him to carry the whole team?

Not a single player played well today, I get that this lad divides opinion but singling him out for todays loss is beyond reaching.

All players have off days and not many played well today but the problem is that wasn’t Brewster’s off day. That’s him at his very best and it’s nowhere near good enough. Hamer, O’Hare, Moore etc will have better performances over the next few weeks Brewster won’t. We’ve been waiting for over 4 years for a 9/10 performance. It isn’t coming

For the sake of going over old ground again for the millionth time...

Brewster isn't good enough, we all know this. It's plainly obvious to see for any reasonable person with two functioning eyeballs connected to a brain.

The real question is why he's so vehemently defended and offered special protection by a certain section of our fans?

The likes of which I've never seen before for any player past or present.

If you slag Robinson, Burrows, Peck or Shackleton off nobody bats an eyelid.

Dare to criticise Brewster and we get people wading straight in every time saying it's bullying or he's being singled out. Bullshit.

I'm sure Dean Hammond and Ivo Grbic tried their best for us and were both nice blokes but they both got ripped to shreds for being absolutely shit.

And rightly so.

What is so special about Rhian fucking Brewster?

Difference in the two teams was that when we are on top like we were first half in key moments like peck having a great oppurtunity to play someone in but electing to turn back towards goal and play a safe pass or o hare having the choice of two players to play in who. Were in acres of space but instead went for the third who was being marked and really had no chance of receiving ball

Not to mention tubby hamer treating the ball like an unexploded bomb in a episode of danger mouse

Shame he doesn't have the same attitude towards booze and kebabs
