Looks.like it's bad....facing a lengthy spell out with significant hamstring injury, no time scale on return

Really feel for the lad, he was just hitting form and looking very dangerous

Fuck feeling sorry for the lad, I feel bad for SUFC and the fans.

I'm sure cradling 30k every week, will help soothe his disappointment. We can still count on one hand the number of goals he has scored for the club. Liverpool had our pants down and rammed a 12" dildo up there for good measure.

Any source for this? I was hopeful it wasn't that serious as he seemed relaxed afterwards, watching the game and joking with the subs

Firm but fair.

To be fair it's not his fault how much we paid for him.

Of course hes been a disappointment but his attitude seems spot on. Hes not overweight and crashing his Lambo and hes not injured and fighting in the street. Plus he seems genuinely happy to be at the club. I still think he may come good unlike a number of other strikers weve paid big.money for

i fear it could be a season ending injury for brewster but if thats the case just put him away for a fresh start next season

The lad needed to stay fit now more than ever, just getting into form and this injury is one that worries me. I'm thinking of Michael Owen and that yard of pace he lost after his hammy problems.

Poor lad, hopefully he makes a full recovery and the hamstring isn't in the back of his mind when he goes up the gears.

Should have also brought in marcus forrs and kept jebbo at burton

I thought he looked very in the last two matches

Luckily for Brewster he isn't totally reliant on pace ,he's no slouch but yards behind a young Owen

Look at it as a possible silver lining - Jebbo and Billy up top, with Ndiaye behind - Jebbo has learnt from a master craftsman down at Burton. Get MGW back up to speed and we've got 4 for 3 places with McG chucked in for the odd cameo which allows us to be 3421 or 3412 depending on who we play..........and yes, i've left McB out on purpose (can someone now organise a dtaxi for the summer to S Wales).

Fitness shouldn't be a problem for Jebbo either as he's up to match fitness already - lets use the opportunity and see exactly what Everton wanted to pay....sorry rob us of £5m for.

Every cloud and all that.........

Sounds like an excellent night out

Shame for the lad, ive written some right guff on here about him regretfully. Hope he heals up well.

The curse of the WB

Some players are beset by hamstring issues, look at Agana back in the day, the number of games he missed, and the impact it had on his career and eventual drop down the leagues. We did Tony no favours by rushing him back each time, but then who could blame us, plus he was older. This may be a long term blessing - put RB in cotton wool, get him right for August and then fingers crossed.

If this forum represents a fair cross section of our fanbase then you could say “the fans” must take a large part of the blame.

Remember when we were chasing Brewster.
So many of our fans accused us of lacking ambition by dragging it out trying to get him at 20 million.
I saw a few comments….“just pay their asking price of 25 million because he’ll be worth over 50 million in a few years, so we’ve doubled our money”
Also saw comments “it doesn’t matter what his wage demands are, stop being tight and just pay it”

I even saw several comments like “anyone who thinks we’ll sign Brewster is deluded. We’ve no intention of signing him because we lack ambition”
”It’s just to make it look like we’re trying for the top talent, but he’ll go elsewhere (like Villa) when they offer 25 million”.

At the time I said it was a big gamble and no way is he worth 20 million yet.
Many insisted that for the 1st time ever we need to be ambitious and gamble, just shows how wrong many Blades can be.
Being ambitious just for the sake of it, is a fools policy, just look at S6 with Chansiri.

See they were quick to mention it being different injury following criticism of the medical team in the past

Our big money young forwards must be made of fuckin Weetabix. Mousset, Mcburnie, Brewster have the strength and conditioning of a lemon drizzle cake. And chuck Berge into that as well. Sharpe and Mcgoldrick should have been seen off by that lot last season as too slow and old. Instead, the old men keep going while the youngsters flop around on their fuckin playstations......

Questions have to be raised about our sports science and medical support. Too many instances of players over the last few years being out long term. From the management of JOC's injuries, Stevens continuing problems and long term hamstring injuries for Berge and now Brewster you have to ask why in the first 3 years of CW's tenure we didn't have these problems?

The continuing failure to appoint a Head of Sports Science gives the impression we are skimping on one of the most important areas at the football club and if not addressed is likely to impact on any chance we have of achieving a play off place.

We must have suspected this on Monday, I can't understand why we didn't bring in another striker.

Exactly, this is undermining Hecky and a play off push by cost cutting,we are now relying on a rookie,an out of form midfielder/striker and an unfit, shown nothing for months one to play alongside a veteran.Hecky should have asked for a loan in,and he should have got one

He's got a hamstring injury to the same leg.. buttt it's a different injury

(Translation: Please don't yell at the physio team, they're already hiding in the loos bawling their eyes out 🤣)
