Forget whats gone, good or bad. Next sat is such a big game we all need to to pull together. If it gets to 80th min and its 0-0 or even 0-1, lets not boo, bloody cheer, sing, scream like we did against leeds in the cup, forest in the semi's and the unclean in the same season. There should be 11 terrified players on that pitch saturday, their away kit shaking with fear. WE ARE BLADES ! BELIEVE !

shadows of the past
I have made several references lately to how this season , albeit in different divisions , has many similarities to the basset promotion year of 89/90 , when we traded places with the pigs.Wednesday yesterday kept their side of the equation up yesterday moving to within touching distance od league one . That season we went up with only 82 points in a very tight league, we lost 4 at home and only won 9, and near the end , got thumped 4-0 at leeds after which we all thought wed blown it.lo and behold we go away and get tonked 4-0 , what we now have to do is what Everton did yesterday , come back from a humiliating defeat , and beat a top side at home.
Football is about ups and downs ,toffee fans were miserable buggars last saturday , I was really down at 4.30 pm yesterday, but if we expect the players to respond , we as fans should also respond in a postive way next week .
Lets not forget the dream scenario of trading places , is still on

Agreed.

I'm hoping for a first team of the following against Brentford.

Long

(l to r)
Hill
Collins
Maguire
McMahon

McFadzean
Robson
McDonald
Poleon

Forte
Kitson

A view from Stevenage;

"Why is it supporters of clubs living off past glories won't accept they are where they are today because of their performances now and not the past? Having supported our club on the rise I appreciate it must be difficult to see your team in decline, however a first defeat in ages isn't the end if the world and an occasional stuffing helps to focus the mind."

I hope we can suitably "focus our mind" for Saturday.

Rodley, if DW drops Doyle, I will stroll bollock naked down Fargate after the match.
