Hallelujah..finally the penny might have dropped for a manager at the Lane that we need a big bugger at the back (6ft 5") who can dominate aerially and wins his tackles and be a voice at the back. Maybe even leader. It also says that he's fairly quick too. Provided that he stays fit he could be a tremendous signing and just what we need.

And the fact that he has a Paul Stancliffe beard means that the lad will be a future captain at the Lane and a defensive lynch pin. Now if he is agreeable to changing his name to Charlie Stancliffe that will also help.

From what’s available online he looks like a dribbler with good pace that like a tackle whereas Brentford want their centrebacks to be out and out ball player retaining possession across the back. We don’t really do that Norwood drops deep to do that and we ask our CB’s to drive forward I think he’ll be alright with us
