Anyone else thinkthat the free kick from which they scored shouldnt have been given?

Bash made a perfectly clean tackle yet the fucking incompetent ref gave them a stupid free kick.

In fact he gave them so many free kicks for nothing that it seemed that he was willing them to equalise ?

Seen it a few times and it should never have been given ...........

Thought it was myself. Bash looked as though he tried to pull out of it but still caught him for me.

More disapponted in Blacks needlessly coming for it and then being out of position.

Thought it was a nailed on free kick. Basham gives a lot of those away!

The 10 minute highlights on the website shows the challenge from two angles. At the time I thought he had won the ball, but having seen the tv footage I thought his touch was minimal. It probably was a foul, but given the conditions, it was no where near a bookable offence (as some Brentford fans seemed to think).

I didn't think it was a foul at the time, considering the conditions I think their lad made the most of it. Still should have defended it better, that was the only chance they had, luck, lucky bastards.

I think it'll come good tomorrow, I'm going 2-0 Blades.

Whether it was or wasn't isn't the issue. Free kicks will always be given against and for us and we need to do better defensively than that. A totally unmarked player with time to control the ball and place his shot is not acceptable at this level.
