Brentford 1 United 1 - quick report

In a pizza place in Soho...very nice too. I will post a report later but we played really well today. Should have won. Started slowly but after first 20 mins we were better side. Missed several chances and 4 one on one'. We were like the United of early season. Great game. Like a basketball game at times. Ref awful. Should have been 2 yellows as handbags but he was poor all game.

Gutted we did not win but that was much better performance.

Bash, Baldock, Steadman, Fleck, O'Connell excellent....Bash an of match was superb.

Clarke lazy and wasteful. Sharp missed chances. Lundstram off pace. Stevens got beat too easy. Better when Evans came on. Leonard did ok.

Enjoyed that today but got To take chances. Brentford went for it too so open but we made them look ordinary at times.

Got back from game back to Leicester sq by 5.40pm. Incredible as game finished at 5ish and we ran to tube at south Ealing to escape rain.

Usually there’s at least one rating of yours that I’ll disagree with in a report. Not that one though – a solid choice in a decent place.

I thought Brentford edged the first half and looked dangerous but Sharpy had a couple of chances.Although we came out like on fire closing down everywhere.S/H we started well and again they got in to it, sending offs ..? changed it as their best player went, we had the best chances to win 3 one on ones and you cant blame the strikers as their keeper made three cracking saves.Happy with a draw as I expected a loss,need some additions in the summer. utb

We went to the pizza place just down from South Ealing on the way to the ground. Mushrooms and fresh chillies. 9/10

I thought Lundstram played quite well to be honest and was surprised he was subbed instead of Leonard.

Fleck and Joc were outstanding but agree that Bash was definitely MOTM.
