He's a good player for sure, the praise goes a wee bit over the top cos he's a typical old-fashioned blades type. He's looked like a blade since he first pulled on a shirt. We haven't had too many of those types in a long time now. His work rate and enthusiasm are contagious, you really get the feeling his presence helps the entire team. The fact he has a bit of a bromance with Cloughie is an added bonus. It all just fits. Clough is showing he knows how to gel a team together like nobody since Warnock has got even close to achieving. He's surprised me a lot, i didn't realise he was that type of manager. Never really seemed like that at Derby to me, seemed quite methodical and subdued. He seems to have really found his passion back since he came here. Maybe cos expectations were so low it's given him a bit of freedom, at Derby he was always under pressure and seemed to be on the verge of getting the sack for about 3 years.
