Is there anyone out there with relevant experience/knowledge - what's the value of the Bramall Lane site assuming you had commercial/residential planning permission?
Why it's worth £1 of course.
I saw this advert for some land somewhere near the University and if BDBTL covers 12 acres and if it had even outline residential planning permission then maybe, £6,000,000?
I don't think that's going to cover KM's debts somehow ..
Well it won't if all he wants to do is sell the land. If he were to develop the land himself and put shed loads of residential and retail units on there, you could probably times that figure by 5 or 6. He is, after all, a property developer. Just saying.....![]()
The time to start worrying will be when he vehemently denies it, but keep an eye out for any ownership changes at the DVS too.True Jon Bon true.
If he built student flats he'd have a rental fortune for life or he could then sell on at a premium.
Gulp ... he wouldn't do that to us would he?

GARETH BALE 84 MILLION
ronaldo ,, 80 million
Bramall L ane ,,,, priceless
Come on fellas get with it. He only paid a £ as he took the associated debt with it.
This approach reduced the club's liabilities and probably saved us from being insolvent. It also provides some protection to the ground, our most valuable asset, away from the company's creditors.
It does make commercial and business sense. McCabe knows that he can't do anything with the ground, as without it the football club is worthless and he will lose all the money he has lent to the club.
He can always offer the ground to any interested party who takes over the club. Beware the danger that it could end up in the hands of a Yeung or Shinawatra type character - then we will have real trouble.

cant believe your post , you insist the grounds not ours , but it is , he hasnt killed the club , subsequent play off final losses have took us backwards , ie the players , hes funded every challenge , the fact we are where we are is down to players, like even macdonald , who has been elevated to Messi status by some to back their argument , who failed us in finals,I just cannot believe your post. Complete an utter misguided an clapper rubbish. The ground was the only asset SUFC LTD had and Disgusting Property Speculator got his hands on it. As someone said above, why would anyone buy the club and then pay rent to McStripper? The bloke has killed our club and you are the one that needs to wake up. To say the pillage of BDTBL from SUFC LTD has strengthened that company is just laughable.
asset stripped how , prove it , the ground is still there as is the owner , wheres the proof 1 asset has been removed , there is none except in your head
I passed Bramall Lane last night and it was still there , as were all the improvements its undergone under his stewardship, we only have those assets due to him
yeah but that it is exactly it. he 'is' a yeung or shinawatra type and we 'have' real trouble.. NOWCome on fellas get with it. He only paid a £ as he took the associated debt with it.
