What is Ray Tracing? I’ve heard of it but never actually looked into what it is/does.

There are online children's teaching modules through minecraft these days. Meant to be really educational. Teaching kids through a media that they understand and relate to

No but I did hear that the Minecraft software struggled to replicate the Kop bogs

I get that, i understand it's quite a good starting block into graphic design and similar professions. My lad plays the game on and off, but prefers building things with his hands though, same as me I suppose.

If they want to be really authentic, they could show a few young roustabouts doing a cheeky pre-match bump in one of the cubicles.

What is Ray Tracing? I’ve heard of it but never actually looked into what it is/does.

its a way of bringing in real physical light, reflections, mirrors, water effects into computer software to simulate actual light patterns and reflections. Makes everything look more life like. Last few years have seen a bit of a leap forward in home computer hardware that can produce such effects with decent frame rates.

Here is an example in Minecraft its the same scene with RT on right and RT off left. This is only scratching the surface too there is a lot more still to be developed.
