Pretty fed up with the way the club - and Satdi in particular - is being portrayed and probably perceived atm so here's an attempt to spread some further positivity (it already exists - look at the posts) between Blades and Bantams.

I thought Bradford fans before (on Roygbiv's blog), during (despite the coin-chucking, which I didn't notice at the time), and after (again on Roygbiv's - and other posts) the game were excellent.

Saturday was a great game of football for all sorts of reasons, fans included.

The other set of fans that immediately spring to mind are Spurs - they seemed to enjoy the trip as well.

Surley a few fans throwing coins puts them in the "dickhead category" in the same way we've been been put into the racist one.
There was only a hand full of blades sat any closer to the away fans than I was and let me tell you- they weren't a patch on the Spurs fans!

Shit stirring by various saddoes with axes to grind - we stuffed them, bollocks to them and I am happy that the season has come alive.

And so it goes on. You're not the bloke in the South Stand who, although he has since admitted that he couldn't hear what was actually sang, couldn't wait to slag United off? The match was actually on Monday.

Not having a go at you personally WHF, just pointing out that 'A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.' (W. Churchill)

Definite shades of Chedgate here where certain obscure 'ambassadors' couldn't wait to spout off and Toby Fucking Foster did his usual illiterate jock act.

Anyway, I'll confess to anything if the FA wants blood. I was definitely at the Bradford Park Avenue match on Sunday night, threw coins at United players, burnt their ground down and also started the Reichstag fire while I was at it.

No way. They are twats. Poor losers and always had an issue with us.

Worcester City were the best I've seen since Spurs, dunno about Bradford though as I wasn't there

yes Worcester's wasn't bad.

Bradford were noisy until Billy scored, then as we generally took control in all aspects of the game they were very quiet - quite pathetic at times considering the numbers. Perhaps we would have been the same if we were getting stuffed.

The banter in G&H is usually very good with a large away following, but was pretty disappointed with their effort really.

Now Spurs were noisy - but then WE showed them how to do it in the first leg - plus let's be right, they did have something to shout about.

UTB

Millwall would be up there, if it wasn't for their annoying 30 minute chant of MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I think a case could be made for a number of teams fans including those mentioned but what is more interesting for me is the effect OUR fans have on other teams. If you don't believe the impact they can have then all you have to do is watch Spurs fans copy the "Everywhere we go" chant after the 1st Leg of the Semi..............................Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and never forget it.

Be proud Blades fans...When you do what you do best there are few clubs ANYWHERE who can match our numbers, passion wit and all-round ability to leave a profound and lasting impression on those who witness it the length and breadth of this land.

It is our support what stood out for me as a young lad and it still has the ability to raise the hairs on the back of my neck even to this day.

UTB and let's have a successful 2016 !!!

Millwall for me too, one of the few fans that actually have a decent sense of humour.
Shame we're always trying to kill them.

To be fair Tyler...if memory serves..Millwall and their fans spent most of the 70's and 80's trying to kill everyone else so a bit of Karma isn't entirely unsuprising................ :)

Definitely. The first game I went to was Wigan away in 1988 I think. I was 8. Though i remember the 3-0 win, the main thing that stuck with me that day was our away fans on the terraces. Singing and quite a few waving Bertie Basset soft toys!

Bradford fans were very poor. If we took 4,000 to an away game the away end would rock but after the first goal it was like a church on the away end.

I think the Peterborough fans will prove to be the best away fans of the year.

And yes it was the Worcester day trippers that acted like arse wipes in the away end.

There were some right dicks, among the Worceste fans. Intimidating our female bar and catering staff to the extent that the tea bar was shut before half time .A fat bloke who spent most of his time waving his fists at the south stand. Wankers.

Its an honor to be mentioned up there with other teams away support youve mentioned..sadly there was a load of chavvy bandwagon jumpers who did their best to spoil what wouldve been another great day out to a top club and the welcome and respect we were given befitted all that!

Funny how theyve all disappeared since that game, no doubt till next season if we are lucky enough to a 3rd succesive Cup run to the Proper Rounds again. If we'd brought the same crowd with the amazing atmosphere that turned up at Cov (just totally one big loud happy family!) , then i'd be happy to lap up all the plaudits we'd deserve. :)
