Dujon Stirling, on loan Chelsea right back but has been playing at left back the last few games for Stoke.

I'd say he is a Chelsea youngster but he is actually 23 and as you can guess he has been farmed out on loan a few times. He has been at Chelsea for 6 years and not even kicked a ball for them.
Just goes to show how the big clubs are strangling the life out of young talented players by hoovering them up and casually loaning them out, without a hope of them getting in Chelsea’s first team.

They still have a shit ton of players even under the new ownership. Although they have cut loose a number of players that had been there a decade and not played.

Stoke are becoming decent.

Next season reckon they will be a good bet for a top 6 push.

Middlesbrough are on a fantastic run but they aren't world beaters. If they come up against the tougher teams just like us they will find it tougher.

Preston aren't pushovers either.
They've also got some other tough matches as well. Luton, Norwich, Burnley, Coventry, Bristol city away etc.

In other news Burnley now only need 12 points to guarantee automatics.

Only downside for Stoke is a fair chunk of their squad are on loan. I'd be surprised if they get Pearson back on loan next year.

From the balance of play it’s a good point for boro, we have to take advantage tomorrow we can’t afford to drop points.

Thought stoke were a decent side at our place as well, just didn’t have a quality forward. Boros back four/defence would get ripped a new one in the premiership also,Archer and Akpom were on top form at ours even though they should have been 3 down after 10 minutes, small margins and turning points in football .

Middlesbrough play Preston on Saturday. Preston haven't lost in 7. If we win our next two games 6 points with 9 to go and a fa cup semi would clear some of the doom and gloom

Second time Boro have drawn within 4 points of us, second time they've shat their pants.

It's a totally different pressure when the other team is within touching distance.

I'd have taken a Boro point beforehand.

Decided to torture myself and watch the last 10-15 mins on Sky. Apart from the Boro chance that went wide and should have been offside (not sure of the assistant flagged) thought Stoke looked more likely to nick it.

Was an entertaining watch. What was pleasing is that while Boro looked a threat going forwards, they were 2nd best for most of the game and defensively suspect. They will drop points. We need to not panic and keep ticking over.

And could quite conceivably achieve promotion on Good Friday Vs Boro.

In fact that exactly what we want. Up on the Friday, all weekend bender, hanging out of their arses on Easter Monday when we roll into town.

The point/performance that Boro got last night was the one we should have put up against Boro a few weeks ago, instead we lost our heads and shape eventually.Last night, against a clearly superior side, they didn't and settled for a point, which will be seen in future as a point gained, not two lost.

They'll be up by then and effectively champions

Unfortunately for us they'll want revenge for that 5-2 at BL

We need to aim for at least a 3 point total from Sunderland and Norwich before we go there. So we have to go for it in both these games. Play cautiously in both we'll probably end up with 1 point, 2 if we're lucky
