Why i ask you Why

Why would you come down to Bramal Lane...watch your beloved team...and because they start to lose 1 game at home this season you begin to boo...its too anoying...granted the Blades didnt play very well..and our defence was pretty poor...but you cant expect the lads to perform perfctly week in week out.

And the worst thing about it is...there was one occasion where we was slatin them..and all of a sudden we broke..and cheers came from all arond the lane...you wither boo them or you cheer them...but doing both is rather annoyin

Make your choice

i think after spending that amount of money at football you have a right to boo weather it is right or not

I agree maybe booing isnt the answer and yes you cant win every game but what they can do is play like they want to win it with a bit of passion instead of watching the other side win

They don't need booing,

they need fucking :mad::shakehead:

the thing is, where does booing the players/manager/whoever get us? puts everyones head down IMO which is only gonna make us play worse? seems a bit pointless may aswell be getting behind the team cos everyone knows thats when we play best

but then again what do I know? :)

Where does clapping the team off get us though? Oh yeah well done lads for a shit performance.

I didn't boo or clap,lol.

I don't want to pick the bones out of your post but to say we didn't play very well and that our deffence was pretty poor is sugar coating in the extream.

We have been terrible so far this season and i think that, until the results improve, you will only see an increase in both booing and negativity at BDTBL.

Some weeks would be nice though......

You pay that money to SUPPORT your team through thick and thin

Where does it state we have to "support" the Blades on our ticket. Should we carry on paying through the nose for poor performances? If the people who booed yesterday didn't turn up our attendances would be down dramatically. Which would have a more detrimetal effect? Hard to say really, but I'm sure the board are happier to have people booing IN THE GROUND than them not to be there at all.

Can't agree more fella, whilst I didn't boo and wouldn't either, why should we appreciate a performance such as that? It's like saying "yeah cheers lads, I've just spent £20 (or however much) to watch a pretty poor performance, keep disappointing me and I will keep happy"

The people who boo, this is their perogotive, I May not agree with the booing, but they may not agree with some views I have.

Exactly Robbie.

If you went out for a meal and it was crap you would complain. You wouldn't tell them it was nice would you?

come on...seriousley...''Where does it tate on our season ticket that we have to support them'' what do you buy the season ticket for? to go down watch some footy for a team you dont even like??

Supportin goes without sayin

And no...clapping wouldnt get us nowhere...but you think they are gunna want to hear all the fans booing them off...it will be bad enough robbson havin ago at them at half time...nevermind thinkin ''the fans arnt behind us on this one...whats the point...cant be arsed to play'' clappin them could give them some self respect after conceedin two goals from a 1-0 lead

I think that just about sums up my feelings too.

It also doesn't say you pay to see a guarenteed blades win every week, as some of the newer fans seem to think.

we expect to win everyweek....on paper we should - but the better players don't always make the best team.

It's just like Chelsea, the fans believe they have a divine right to win every week because of the money they have.

Wouldn't be so bad if we lost, if we actually looked bothered.

If some of our "fans" are anything to go by, most would make sure they picked out someone who might not have even been involved in the crap food eg. a barman. Then ensure they insulted his appearance, his family and anything and everything to do with him, before squaring the blame purely on his shoulders rather than the chef.

Thing is, whilst its not good, its been a whole lot worse. They aren't gonna look any more bothered with the reaction they are getting either, hence the plea for patience and the attempt at a roundabout "please don't boo" when they came out for the second half.

I think that the plea for patience is an indication of just how low morale is within the camp and just how fragile the confidence of our lads is right now.

The problem is, if things don't go to plan on Tuesday i dare say the booing will be much more vociferous.

Yeah i agree. It'll be an edgy atmosphere Tuesday night....

patience? Tick Toc, Tick Toc.

How long does he need? He is a professional manager whos payed shit loads more than me and he cant get the players passign the ball on the deck and not up in the air.

Either the players are thick as shit or the coaching is all wrong. With no improvement made in matches, all this propaganda being fed to us by robson about passing football is not evident.

True we shouldnt expect a win, but colchester at home? scunny away, blackpool away, come on, weve just come out of the prem and were getting done by shitty little teams like these.

1 step forward, 2 steps back.

the only thing that is annoying me is that they just look disinterested when loosing...i hate people booing it really pisses me off and ill follow blades through thick and thin but i don't see the point in clapping them when they've not played well...if a dog bit you, you wouldn't reward it would you

True.

If you didn't do your job properly you'd get the sack.

I don't expect a win, I expect them to put 100% effort in though.

Just an observation. When people talk about how the players were used to getting a kick up the arse from Warnock it wasn't just him doing it, McCall did his fair share of shouting as well, especially when Warnock was serving touchline bans and getting sent to the stand and I've not seen Kidd do much yelling either.

I've not seen Kidd do much yelling either.

I wasn't there, but my significant other said Kidd spent a lot of game with head on fist, elbow resting on dug out - what impression must that give to players when they look up? Him looking fed up?

Any of you see the guy who walked down south stand gangway C and shout at Robson that it wasn't good enough? Everyone was quiet, but not one person shouted for him to shurrup.

I don't usually agree with booing - but you have to complain somehow! If you're unhappy with something you've bought, no matter how much you've paid you complain. In a sense the manager, the coach, and the team need to know that we're not happy with the performance and it needs to improve.

Being 2pts off the drop zone is something to complain about!

Whilst it is true that Macca was very animated on the touchline i have no doubts that it was the wrath of Warnock that stirred on so many 2nd half revivals.

I remeber feeling sorry for CKR last season cos when he was on the flank with the dugouts he used to spend half of his time getting an ear bashing from Macca and Warnock :-)

It remains to be seen whether Robbos tatical and coaching abilities outshine that of Neil Warnock but i think that its pretty obvious that when it comes to motivation our previous manager is head and shoulders above our current one.
