Bolton Wanderers v Sheffield United
Fa Cup 2nd Round
Sunday 4th December 2016
2:00pm
Are we set for TV coverage then?

You would have thought so really wouldn't you considering the game features the two biggest names in the hat.

That said I still believe that TV coverage in the earlier rounds should be solely for the non league teams who have made it this far because they need to payday more than the rest of us. With this in mind, the likes of Westfields, Whitehawk, Curzon and Stourbridge should be on the box over us.

It was a nice touch to see Oxford donate all of their first round money to the non league opposition (Merstham) as well, that was a really nice touch and very much what The F.A Cup is all about.

Anyway traditionalists.....Shock, shock, horror!!!......Another Sunday game!

Nailed on to be on TV. No other reason to move it.

Monday night on BT Sport it's Lincoln City v Oldham.

No complaints from me. It is another fixture that i wouldn't have been able to attend, but now i can go.

There were 9 Sunday ties in Rd 1 as well, surely not all for TV or fixture clashes? I think they just like to be able to justify a highlights programme on both nights.

If you look at the past 5 years or so with the television picks, it's generally non league sides at home to league clubs that have been the pick of the tv companies. But, Bolton v United is the 'flagship' draw of the 2nd round not involving non league sides, and I suspect that with the programme that the BBC show on the Sunday afternoon, where they show goals as they go in - they will want to show that.

I reckon that is why it is on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm going regardless, it's only £13. Thank you Bolton for not fucking us over twice.

South Yorkshire police have been in touch with Lancs and they've decided they cant manage Utd and the grunters on the same day less than a 100 miles apart ,not with the tens of thousand of grunters ,mumping and moaning about things yeah.

It's for foreign tv coverage alongside BBC coverage.

Cough cough Coventry v Scunthorpe tomorrow

The BBC do like to follow non league teams and have a fascination with visiting ramshackle little grounds.
