i herd that at half time McCabe didn't leave early but he went into the players changing room and give Blackwell a bollocking. Which he well deserves. If i was McCabe Blackwell would have gone long a go. In my eyes Blackwell needs more then a bollocking, he needs a taxi. Protest in the car park next Sunday could put Blackwell on his final leg???

Well it would be massively out of character for Kevin McCabe to go to our dressing room at half time full stop. It would also be extremely unprofessional and unlikely to draw the apparent improvement from the players in the 2nd half.
If McCabe wasn't happy with a performance I don't think he wouldn't dress down the manager infront of the players it would be meeting behind closed doors. As do that he may as well just sack him on the spot because all his credibilities will have been lost.

There are so many reasons why this claim just doesn't hold water for me.

Yeah from all i have seen from Kevin McCabe during his time in charge i don't think it's true at all. Nor would i want it to be, i don't think that sort of behaviour has any benefit at all. If a Chairman is going to get involved in team affairs at all it should only be in a positive/calming manner.

Possibly Foxy, tis the season of the rumour. I see rumours that Blackwell is 100% certain to be out of the club come the summer, or at least a rumour of a rumour that Blackie is gone.

What has Blackwell's level achieved as a footballer got to do with his management skills or football knowledge?

Bugger and all, that's what. Many managers were no great shakes as players - Mourinho, Ericsson and Wenger to name but three. Then look at all the good footballers who proved to be terrible managers - John Barnes and Brian Robson for starters.

Maybe, just maybe McCabe sees Blackwell as the perfect manager for United right now. He's "cheap as chips" isn't he? Therefore I would think that would apeal greatly to a chairman seeking to cut costs.

I would also think that just maybe McCabe was off back to Brussels early, seeing as how Donny airport wasn't that far away. The chances of him going to the dressing room to Bollock" McCabe are as high as the chances of Gary Speed riding a unicorn home.
